After eight successful years in Woking, we are about to open the doors to our brand-new facility in Camberley and we are excited to announce that Lucy Doyle is joining Prime Acrobatics as our Camberley Gym Manager.
Lucy has a strong and successful background in gymnastics. She is qualified and experienced as a coach in several gymnastics disciplines and has served as a Coach Educator and Educator Workforce Manager for British Gymnastics. Lucy remains an active part of the British Gymnastics education workforce as a regular tutor and assessor.
In addition to her coach education and development background, Lucy also bring a wealth of club management experience with her as well as a strong passion for welfare. Lucy is a British Gymnastics Welfare Officer and previously acted as a National Welfare Officer for Swim England. Lucy also supports the Samaritans by giving a few hours of her time each week as a Samaritans Listener.
Looking ahead to her role as Gym Manager for our new facility in Camberley, Lucy said; “I am extremely excited to be joining Prime and assist the team in developing their second site, and provide safe, engaging, and progressive coaching to children, young people, and adults. The club’s philosophy of ‘where fun meets fitness’ aligns with my drive for happy members participating in our wonderful sport.”
We are extremely proud to add Lucy to the Prime family. Our new centre in Doman Road, Camberley will start providing classes as the new academic year begins at the start of September.
The finishing touches are being made to the gym. This Summer we will host a NexGen workshop by Cirque du Soleil. Participants from Europe, North America and Australia have all been selected by Cirque du Soleil’s Casting department. They will receive a week of high quality training from a Cirque du Soleil expert coach, all taking place in our state-of-the-art Camberley facility which will offer a truly unique experience of merging gymnastics and circus arts.
