We are thrilled to announce an evening of one-off trampoline masterclasses with Scott McDonald, taking place at Prime Acrobatics’ centre in Camberley, Surrey on Thursday 24th September.
Scott McDonald is an acrobatic coach and former Cirque du Soleil performer known for both his creative approach and for teaching a wide variety of disciplines in a progressive, step-by-step way that makes learning safe, fun and approachable! In addition to coaching, Scott creates free resources to help acrobats to learn new skills and gain insights into the industry, consults with gyms around the world, conducts and presents circus-related research, and hosts an annual national medical conference entitled ‘Circus Meets Medicine’.
Scott is based in Las Vegas and will be visiting England for a few days in September. A visit to our state-of-the-art training facility in Camberley was high up on his list of things to do when he visits. We are looking forward to welcoming Scott to Prime Acrobatics and providing the opportunity to enjoy his expertise and experience. Masterclass Options
BEGINNER LEVEL; 24th September, 18:00 to 19:00
Recommended age 10-14 years
Ability to somersault unaided is not a requirement. Participants should have some familiarity and confidence being on a trampoline.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL; 24th September, 19:00 to 20:00
Recommended age 13-16 years
Should be able to front somersault or back somersault unaided. Work on progressing these in new ways and explore other skills.
ADVANCED LEVEL; 24th September, 20:00 to 21:00
Recommended age 15 years +
Reserved for those who can perform twisting somersaults or double rotation somersaults safely.
