We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with ‘Stepping Stones DS’ – a wonderful charity that supports children and young people with Down Syndrome.
This new partnership will see the launch of our brand new Saturday morning “Get Moving” sessions for children aged 6 months to 11 years, taking place at our new Camberley facility. These weekly classes have been carefully developed to provide Stepping Stones children with a fun, active environment that builds strength, coordination, and confidence alongside their friends.
“We have always prided ourselves on diversity and inclusion, and our successful Additional Needs programme has been a staple in our class programme at our Woking centre for several years. Our Additional Needs Coordinator, Josie Rice, now gets to bring her skills and experience to an exciting new programme in Camberley, which will allow multiple children to benefit from the physical development and confidence that gymnastics and circus skills can offer.” Matte Hart, Prime Acrobatics Operations Executive.
Thanks to a generous grant from Global’s Make Some Noise, these sessions will be offered at no cost to Stepping Stones DS families. Our first taster session is set for Saturday, 7th December, with regular classes starting in January.
These “Get Moving” classes are so much more than physical activity—they’re an essential part of promoting lifelong health, resilience, and independence for the children who will attend. Through engaging exercises and fun challenges, the sessions will help each child build body awareness, improve motor skills, and gain confidence in a supportive, inclusive setting.
We’re so excited to offer this opportunity and see the positive impact it will have on children and families alike. With over 40 children signed up already, we can’t wait to get these classes in action and watch the children flourish.
